I don't like them and wouldn't put them on my own stuff. I do know guys that run them on the street and they think they are OK. They are hard to beat for 500-600 dollars off of ebay. I rather have them than the E7's

When they drop a valve, dont be shocked. Cheapest possible valvetrain components are used.

I haven't seen a brand/make of engine that hasn't dropped a valve at some point. When these engines turn those kind of rpms, bad things tend to happen. You, as an engine builder can agree to that I'm sure.

If you need to justify the purchase of pro comp heads and rockers, thats fine, but the chances of yanking the valve tip off or through the cheap stamped retainers are 1000 times greater when using the cheapest soft chinese steel on the planet as compared to real machined steel. To deny the valvetrain used in pro comps is junk and the bearings used in the rockers are not chinese is naive. So if you like to play odds thats fine, but I wouldnt do it on my own stuff or a paying customer, thats my take, if a guy wants to use them, by all means. So back to the original questions, Are they good heads? No there not really very good at all.
