1984 5.0 3g Alt upgrade question
So I have been searching all over the net and cant seem to find a write up on how to install a 3g alternator into an 84 stang. The reason I am posting is because I want to do the upgrade. The main problem I am seeing is that I do not have a factory plug going into my alternator, I have 3 ring connectors going to studs on the back of my alternator. I am assuming I am going to have to get that plug from the junkyard and solder some wires together. Has anyone done this particular upgrade on an 84? like I said I have searched and everyone just has write-ups for 87-93 5.0 mustangs. please help a mental midget complete a seemingly easy task that he has turned impossible, thank you!!!!!

Well, it took some time but a buddy of mine finally got back to me with a diagram I can use to fix my jumble of fun wiring to upgrade my Alternator. If anyone wants me to I can post up the diagrams he had because maybe, JUST MAYBE someone who is as challenged as me may need it.
