front and rear sway bars
I was just wondering if i would gain anything from taking either of the sway bars off of my mustang while i'm at the dragstrip. I am barely @ the 12.99 range and just wondering what the advantags and disadvatages are to having them or loseing them. I realized that driving to the track i would have to suffer a lil bit but if it helps with wieght and sum sort of better e.t. i figured it would be worth it, am i right?

I have the front swaybar links off and I drive on the street a lot, in fact its a daily driver. Its not noticable until you take a 90* turn or a high speed off ramp from an interstate. Its easy enough to put it on and take it of so you might as well just do it either way.

I took my front sway bar off 9-10 years ago. I drive it on the street all the time. Like said above the high speed cornering may suffer. Taking it off will let the front end come up on a launch, plus losing 25-30lbs up front can help to. It gave me about tenth off the 1/4 mile time.
