Bored/Done with current project
Ok so I bought this mustang that is in my Sig about 3 years ago. I spent alot of time and money fixing it and doing all the stuff I wanted to it. Now I find myself doing things over because I feel as though I should have done them differently when there is no problem with it in the first place (i.e Paint - painted it silver now I want it black, Engine - Rebuilt mostly stock then went back in 300 miles later and did heads, cam, etc.)
So my solution is to keep this on the way it is and start over with a whole new project. Its time to ressurect another pony.
So now I want to get a straight bodied (No Rust, No Accidents) Notchback preferably a 5.0 5 speed and make a play toy with it. I know I want to paint it Black and put Chrome Saleen wheels on it. I am having problems finding out what I want to do engine wise however. I am debating between a 03/04 Supercharged cobra engine swap, and a 302 boss block stroked to a 347, full forged internals with a p1sc or something of the mix. What do you guys think would be the better choice. I could care less about price, I do things in time even if it takes years on end.
So let me know what you guys think

If it were me and my money, I would go for the Boss block big bore 347 kit. But that is just me. I don't know anything about modular engines. If it were me, I would stick a pushrod engine in a pushrod car. Just my .02 cents

the cobra swap takes a lot of work, and money... just a thought, ive followed a few builds on other forums and they seem pretty hard.
The 347 i believe would be a very good rought, maybe consider doing a paxton 2000 s/c? thats what i just got, and it looks great! not to mention it made great power on the project T-top coupe in the magazines

good luck finding the cobra parts as you will need a complete donor car, and then only to make 390 HP.
Id get a Dart Block(which im currently purchasing myself), and do a 427 Forged .060 Build, Cometic Head Gaskets,Head Studs -then put some quiet mufflers on it
600 Natural Ponies with Endless Torque Pull Should Satisfy you permanently in a small fox
It would be one hell of a toy .
You can push the block to well over 1000 HP shall you decide to put that blower on it.

Where do you live and how much do you want for the car in your sig???

If I had to start from scratch (again) and wanted a nice streetable car. Id start by using one of Fords Boss 347/450 hp (that actaully makes close to 500) crate motors. Put an Edelbrock ProFlo fuel injection systems, T-56 six speed tranny, and 3.73 gears all stuffed into a 90-93 Notch with a super slick black paint job topped off with a set of 17X9 Shelby Razor wheels wraped with 275/40/17 rubber and some nice corner caving suspension. If I were to sell my current build thats exactly what I'd build.
