Since I can't get an o/r h pipe because i need to pass emissions, should i even bother getting a full length set up?

Well, if you have friends that pass you from their smog shop sure, but if not, then best deal is get some shorties and a hi flow cat h pipe, instead of o/r. Another option is getting an o/r h pipe and then when you need to smog it switch your cat's back on for the smog, then switch back.. A bunch of people do that around here where i am

i would just buy some emissions legal shorty headers and an o/r h-pipe. keep your stock hpipe and when it comes time for smog, put it in, then pull it out after the test

back when i passed smog legitimately thats what i did. it takes about 30min to an hour to do the swap depending on how good you get at it. it wont be too loud, i ran no cats and 2 chamber flowmasters an it was fine. never got pulled over for the exhaust once
