start with no 1 cylinder and watching the lifter roll motor over until the lifter for the exhaust valve starts to open, you are now on the heel/base circle of the intake lobe and can now set lash, tighten poly lock down until slight drag is felt on the lifter then from there 1/4 to 1/2 turn more to set pre load then lock it down, you are then ready to do the exhaust valve, roll motor over until intake lifter starts to move up , when it does you are now ready to set lash/preload, continue the same procedure for the rest of the cylinders

if you do it in order you will set lash by turning the cam over only once.
Dont get excited and overtighten the nuts because you are able to get the pushrods to press down more when you do so, thats only because the lifters arent pumped up.
If you go over a rocker and set it, and later notice it is loose dont worry, thats just because you have compressed that lifter some more and there is less pressure built up in it than when you set your lash.
