Default rear tire clearance question

i was just wondering what can be done to fix a clearance issue with the rear quad shocks and tires.

I ran Nitto 275 DR's with '95 Cobra R's with FRPP C springs...No problems!

Problem with tires clearing the quad shock?? Throw quad shock in the garbage and get some good lower control arms..

remove the quad shocks, that's what I did or in some cases you can flip them around the other way

That's what I did ^^^^, but you're not going to put much more then a 275 on a Fox (without minitubs....)

Throw the quads in the can and get a good set of lower control arms. I have Lakewood Traction bars with all Poly bushings and UPR adjustable uppers. My car is TIGHT and the quads were worthless.

That's weird b/c when I did the U/L's I took the Q/S off I had mad wheel hop.

thanks for the replies guys. i have another quick question. what years of fox stangs have quad shocks? because i saw one the other day pretty sure it was newer than mine and it didnt have 'em. guy said it was bone stock but i guess maybe someone could have taken them of.
