what kinda budget?and u can improve the power of ur 5.0 by geting good plugs, some high performance wires, bbk Intake, headers, throttle body spacer, and full exhaust.Thats a pretty normal setup for alot of 5.0s better hp tq and relibility aswell for not so much money.now if u have like a 2grand budget u could do a lil more

try check trickflow for a good setup like intake manifolds, plenuims, try to find some good heads,Get a cam but dont go to big youll break shiz fast and the other parts i listed b4 and that would be a decent setup to say the least.and dont 4 get bout stuff like lifters valve springs etc those would be a good idea to upgrade with more cam and heads. And if u have a tight engine lower miles ofcourse nitrous is cheap and powerfull but i wouldnt go more than a 100shot at the most heck a 50 shoot would be safer and make good power but i want use it on my engine and it basicly brand new just barley broke in!
