Default Shifting Problem

I have been driving my 91 gt for about 7 months now. daily driver, pro 5.0 aftermaket shifter, aftermarket clutch but not sure what brand. over the past couple of months, it has been harder and harder for me to change each gear 1-2 2-3 3-4 4-5. i have to force the damn shifter into gear everytime. anyone got anything

re-adjust your cable, prob not disengading the clutch all the way.

your 91 as is mine supposed to have an automatic cable adjuster, but mine don't work. You can try pulling up on the clutch pedal as had as you can then push the pedal all the way down and it should click, you continue to do that till it stops. If that dose not work then jack up the car, get underneath and adjust the cable at the clutch fork.

I bet your quad is cracked due to extra pressure from an after market clutch
also you may have bent your clutch fork...do you have a firewall adjuster?

check your cable, common prob was they'd stretch as the strands unwound and broke 1 by one catching on the internal sheath until finally the cable would snap, but slowly engagement would get worse and worse before snapping occured
