Default opinon's on the BBK SI-R ?

Thinking about getting it... any info on it over the trickflow?

also Does 95 5.0 motors have roller rockers allrdy i bought conv kit off ebay couple months back and not sure wheather my motor was hyd roller or roller i wanted make sure before i tryed do anything with them.

my cars in shop right now getting dual stage 2 clutch, b&m short throw shifter, ford racing 373 gears alum drive shaft put in BBK under drive pullies. and some other Random parts

My next things i want do is. the steed 19 Cam bbk si r injectors, mass air flow throttle body, better alt. to power all the add on's and some other stuff(im not sure yet wheather i want go with twin turbo or super charger.


but any info on what i need know would be great.

I'm going to assume you are using the stock heads as I see no mention of them, Yes you have a hyd roller. Get a better cam choice and use somthing like a TrickFlow intake. Before you go cam and bolt on crazy figure out what you want out of the car and build around that. What works well with N/A engines doesnt always work for boosted engines. The Steeda cam has a small base circle so longer pushrods will be needed.

A little advice to save you some time and money down the road, know what you have before buying parts.

so whats good choice of heads? ive had the 303 cam and i didnt like the outcome thats why im trying the steed 19....

Ok i say a set of AFR 185's, with 1.7 rockers, FFRP B-303 cam and a Trick Flow StreetHeat Intake, 75mm TB, 24lb injectors, BBK Shorty Headers/O,R H or X-pipe Flowmaster exhaust I have all the same stuff on my car and before my cluch took a S%$T I was running low to mid 12's, 12.1 with Drag Radals

Good combo if you dump the 1.7s, Bcam, street heat intake, Shorty headers. You choking down a really nice set of heads

when using the Comp NX-274-HR can i use factory length push rods? not trying to steal the thread!!
