i had changed my balancer about 3 weeks ago and ever since i changed it i got a oil leak where the balancer is which i think is going to be the front seal, how hard is it to change that seal

Not hard at all. Just remove the balancer again, pop the front seal out, knock the new seal in, oil it up, and reinstall balancer. You might have to remove you fan so you can get to it better.

For future referance you should always change the seal when changing a balancer. A lesson I'm sure you already know about. Put a very thin coat of RTV on the seal (like paper thin) around the seal where it goes into the timing cover. They can leak around the seal where the seal meets the aluminum cover. It most cases it won't but why risk it.

so i just pop it out then, i thought i was going to have to take off timing cover, and i knew i should of changed it when i installed new balancer but i didnt see no leaks or have any leaks and got lazy , i guess when i slid on new balancer or pulled old one the seal must off loosen up

you could of rolled the lip on the seal ..I lightly coat the seal lip with grease to aid it sliding on to the balancer seal surface

No removal of the timing chain needed...should take about an hour!
