Default Have a couple of questions, need help.

just ordered a trickflow track heat top end kit, mass air flow, 24lb injectors ,190 fuel pump, and throttle body. Do i need to get a fuel pressure regulator? if i do what brand should i stick with and what pressure should i run it at? What else do i need to make the motor run? Does any one have an idea at what my hp will be.

why did you go track heat? hopefully your motor is capable of producing that amount of power if not you kinda wasted that extra cash instead of not getting the street heat.

yes you need an adjustable regualtor. i got a BBKalong with the gauge

as for HP figures it depends on the motor. you may actually be lower then what they claim

me personally i wouldnt of got a 190 pump and went straight to the 255. this way you dont need to buy a new pump if you ever wanted to do nitrous or a blower/turbo

Let's see here..

I run a Kirban billet AFR and it works great, you'll definitely need it. Get an air / fuel guage as well as FP gauge so you can adjust tuning and track results.

As for the fuel pump issue, if you've already installed it or can't return it...don't panic. If you go to power adders later, you can always add an external auxilliary pump like a T-Rex. Many of the Vortech kits some with them.

DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$ ON AN AIR/FUEL GAUGE...

SET PRESSURE AROUND 38 PSI TO STRAT

Skimping on the A/F gauge is fine, but don't skimp on the Fuel Pressure gauge...
