Default Good Deal or not?

I have a friend that knows a guy that has a 93 Mustang GT 5.0 for sale. It is a 5 speed, that when he bought it didn't have third gear. My buddy said he thinks that is fixed now. The guy has a turbo and intercooler for it but hasn't installed it yet. He was planning on painting it so it is currently primered.

My question is, is 3500 to much? He said he would sell it for 3500 w/o the turbo and intercooler installed or 3700 w/ them installed, plus he would give me the paint that he has to get the car painted. I am just curious as to what you guys think about the price.

I'd jump on it without the turbo.

Couple things to note - 93 doesn't have forged internals so they're not as robust (gotta be more careful with the boost).
$200 for the turbo? Even if you don't want it you should buy it with the kit, then remove it and stick it on ebay - if it's not thrashed you should be able to get WAY more than $200 for a turbo, intercooler, and all of the bits.

I'm that same boat with you man. I need to get rid of my Honda to get a stang. I'm just saying that I personally wouldn't turbocharge my 5.0 that's all, I'm not saying you shouldn't.

uhh why wouldn't you want turbo?

and your sig is ironic...seeing as it says you like things fast enough to do stupid in, but you have a honda... i guess just getting in a honda, especially one that will be in motion (hence the fast enough) is stupid though...
