Default cutting of the stock springs

When i bought the car it had a set of cheap lowering springs on it. The owner threw in the stock springs incase i wanted to swtich back to them because of the ride. Instead i left the lowering springs on and got a good set of shocks. went with the KYB- AGX shocks. I know lowering springs kill you off the line a little bit, and i dont like the way the rear end sits so i was wondering if i would be able to cut the stock springs down say like 1 1/2. Let me know if its possible..

You can do it but it's not a good idea to. If your looking for off the line traction get some drag springs.

it will make the ride very bumpy if you do. plus cutting them and putting them in may be even worse for launch then lowering springs.

I put after market springs on my 95 GT and had the front springs cut about 1.5 inches. It is a little bit more bumpy but it looks a WHOLE LOT better. My GT is a daily driver and rarely take it to the track. It all depends on what you are trying to do. Street or strip. Take your pick.
