Odometer problem

I've got this problem that's driving me crazy. My odometer dial and the tripometer dial stopped working so I have no idea how many miles I've gone. Any suggestions?

yea, replace the speedometer assembly

I didn't know if there was anything else I could...besides take the whole assembly out.
