Default Head Gasket?

When my car hits around 3k RPM, It starts to misfire/backfire and spit a little bit. When the car is in neutral it doesn't do it as much, but especially in first gear when I get the car going the severity of the problem sometimes increases. I took it to a Ford dealership and they "think" it's a blown head gasket. I put a new cap and rotor in. wires were installed new in July, along with plugs. The dealership techs also said the #2 plug is rusty. I'm not seeing anything burning or any smoke nor smell. I also just replaced the O2 sensors. Also the fuel injector on #2 was replaced with a new one. On a compression test he said #2 had about 92psi(i think psi, idk) and it should have around 110psi.
