Cam Questions "E CAM"

you need matching springs on the heads

Yes you can run the stock pushrods but as said before you need to upgrade the springs. For all the work it take to install it I think I'd find a better cam and sell that to a friend you suspect is hitting on your girlfriend or wife.

the cam aint that bad.... you arnt going to see huge numbers or anything out of it, but the cam does make a decent sound... if that is what you are after

Could just be me but I'd never trust stock pushrods with aftermarket springs. One of my friends turned his valvetrain into a pretzel because of that...

i got a new problem lol.......i put the car back togeather the heads back on and stuff...i decided to spin the motor from the crank and now with the rockers tightend up and stuff i have stock rockers i tryed to spin the motor and it wont spin all the way i took the spark plugs out to do this i think the im having ptv issues any suggestions only the intake valves hit cause the exhaust valves dont hit all of the exhaust side rockers are all the way down

AdderMk2 03-11-2009 09:12 PM

E cam and gt-40s shouldnt be giving you ANY PTV issues... but you need to pull a head off to be sure. clay the pistons and spin it over again (install only one cylinder's worth of valvetrain btw... makes it easier to turn over)
