<FONT face="Times New Roman, Times, serif" color=blue size=3>I just installed a trick flow intake on to my 92 5 liter. After we got the time correct we noticed that she was running really hard. I thought that maybe it was because I disconnected the batt and the computer need to find out what was going on. Well I have now put on 75 miles and she doesn't sound good at all. I checked all the connections and everything seems good. My question is what could be wrong? I plan on using a timing light to make sure everything is all good. Any ideas?<IMG src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0"></FONT>

did you pull the dist to put in the intake? check for vacuum leaks

Yeah, sounds like a vacuum leak. Take some WD-40 and spray everywhere around the intake and distributor. Listen for the idle to rise. If it does, you have a leak.

ya vaccum leaks are common
