Default i need help

ok so i just finished installing the gt40 intake and i had to pull the distribuator to insatall and now i tried to restab it and followed the steps on the tech article, and i started my car and it started and could also hear it was not in timing correctly so i shut it off and tried to restab it again and nothing i try to start car now and it wont start it just cranks what do i do

so i went back to check it again and i noticed i forgot to put the tie down screw on so i put it on and car starts and i leave it idleing for a while then turn it off and i try to start it again and nothing it just cranks could this mean i have a bad tfi

have you set timing with a light and with spout out??

your dizzy is probably off, you need to locate top dead center (tdc). Id would do a search on how to do this procedure or maybe someone will chime in and tell you.

Stabbing the distributor isn't that easy, I did everything exactly like the writeup said and mine was still off a tooth. By using a timing light i was able to figure out which way the disty was off and was able to remove and correct it. You'll know pretty easily when it's right.

well i took the tfi to get checked at autozone and they said it was bad so i got another one bolt it on and car started and i shut it off again and try to start again and same thing, no start just crank could something be burning the tfi

i dont know what it is this is weird i start the car and then i turn it off and try it again and nothing just cranks i already took the coil to get check and it was good dont know what it could be the car was working fine before i did the whole switch over to the intake mani
