Whats the most HP you can get while staying emissions legal.In California too, All yeah, no nitrous or engine swaps...Yes strokers/blowers... and stuff...(H/C/I). So yeah, Basicly what the most street legal, and emissions legal Hp you can get out of a Fox body. Lets hear it people.

The HP possibilities are seemingly limitless even when trying to stay emissions legal. Speed = Money. Your question is extremely broad. There are literally hundereds of thousands of H/C/I, Stroker, and Blower combinations you can choose from.

Nitrous is illegal in CAli...but yea you will eventually cap off, due to the ever restricting emissions.

where in cali are you. i should pass smog next time around. just make sure you crank the fuel pressuer down, have cats in and have a good ignition system

Ill pass, and have around 350Hp so far... Neighbor has a 10second 89 has 630 HP with a 14psi pulley on a Vortech.. Registered for 2006

Ive read an article about a 1100hp twin turbo mustang that was still street legal....emissions legal.

You just have to purchase products that carry a CARB E.O. number so when you do get an inspection they will allow it.

That is cali safe too.

im glad i moved from kkkali, no emmisions testing in ky! woo hoo! now to answer the question there probably is no cap as along as you stay with carb aprroved products, and you will probably have to detune before smog inpections, i used to always lean my cars way out before pulling into the smog shop

AGREED I HATE TREE HUGGERS. But our emissions goes away in December so more of that crap.
