Put it this way, you want your setup to match. What I mean by that is you want the intake, heads, and cam to make power in the same range, some intakes are intended for down low to mid power, others are made for high end power (above stock range), same goes for heads.

Generally if you get a "power pack" of some type (a complete trickflow, eddlebrock, ford racing, etc.) kit it will all line up.

If you get the eddlebrock kit you'll get fairly decent power gains, as you will with any h/c/i kit, however eddlebrock does deliver a little more power than the rest in it's class (aside from Holley).

Like this ^ bro said it's mathching the parts so the whole thing is a cohesive unit. I bought my car as it is, a bolt on stock 5.0 and it runs beautifully. The minute the motor gets cracked I'm rendered with an entirely different problem. Although I have considered the amount of money spent on the upgrades to my stock motor, I have to be aware of the fact that they won't match my future plans. Matching parts is everything...

Bro, you will need the full shot. Heads, cams, exhaust and dollars spent on every one of them. Even then you will more than likely fall short of your goal. You have my respect and applause, very few go N/A these days. If it's not your DD and you have some expendible ca$h, I say go for it and go for it huge...
