Lower Radiator Hose Always Cold
Even when my engine is fully warm and the upper hose is hot the lower is cold I thought it was the thermostat but my dad said its not cause the reveserse rotation. he says I have air in my coolant anyone know what it could be. I have a Ford Racing aluminum radiator thats pretty new

I just installed a new aluminum radiator myself and the temp drops real quick from the inlet (upper hose) to the oulet (lower hose). Is it overheating at all?
I haven't been able to road test the new aluminum/Taurus fan yet since the roads are still salty to see if my lower hose stays cool which I can't imagine it staying real cold but it shoud heat up some.

Its a new problem but the car sat for a while while I was painting and I did a new water pump so the coolant was changed and has done this since. Not really over heating but sometimes my car will excessivelly smoke white but only once in a while and I did a coolant pressure check and it held perfect pass the cap pressure

it should be warm to some extent, not ice cold, but that'll all depend on temp outside what I'd do is if you have a infared thermometer is probe different spots on the cooling system, may have a restriction, also perform a block check with a kit to test for a blown head gasket.

well i did the coolant pressure check and it didnt budge at all even at 20 psi of pressure gaskets have like 2k miles on them but I dont know this car has been killing me for 3 years lol just tryin to get it right and enjoy the almost 20k in it and hundreds of hours on it
