Engine timing free (need to use good fuel)! ...remove the spare tire as well, fog light set-up 30#'s....

i have no spare tire, no smog pump, i have a fiberglass aftermarket hood with pins. i am not taking the a/c out i have no fog lights. i thought about trake the rear seat out but does the carpet go all the way back or will i need to do somthing to cover the bare stuff up? also i am from montgomery. al.

at most your back seat weighs 20 lbs. and no the carpet stops about halfway up under the seat

every little bit helps. you gotta think remove the back seat, remove sway bars, fiberglass hood, remove smog remove spare tire thats already starting to add up. a lighter car is easier to move so it will accelerate faster...

As far as removing weight..... it really depends on how extreme you want to go, and if you drive it daily. There are tons of ways (no pun intended) to loose some weight. Anything that doesnt HAVE to be there, take it off. But like i said, that depends on what the car is used for, but you would be amazed how all those little things add up.

yea my main thing is its kind of a daily driver like i said i don't wanna take out the a/c passesnger seat or that kinda of stuff. again no smog pump no spare tire. it has a fiberglass hood (shown in my avatar) it wheel hops like a mother f*cker and i know i need DR's. if i could keep in from wheel hopping and get DR's i know i could prally cut a half secong off my time.
