Question I need help with a few things... Pics inside!

Is that blue thing coming out of the firewall in the picture stock? or aftermarket?

Theres black "marks" on the ground where my exhaust blows.. Is that bad? easy fix? etc..?

First pic- not stock, aftermarket firewall clutch adjuster.
2nd pic- pipe leads to the smog pump, assuming your probably not running one anymore.
3rd & 4th pics- carbon marks, car is probably running rich has some carbon build-up. Could just need a good tune-up.

The smog pump is still there.. with that not hooked up to the pump. Would that make my car stutter and spit at times!?!
OK! I thought that the black marks could be oil.. I checked my oil and it was low. It took 3 quarts to fill it back up..

that pipe that connects to the back of the heads needs to be plugged or removed and plug the back of the heads that can make your stutter and spit at times because your leaking air

K, Thanx. Any ideas on how I can plug it for a temp. fix!?! Maybe a "big" bolt and stuff/screw it in!?!

Some auto stores have caps that you could put over it alnog with a hose clamp to keep it in place.

for a temporary fix get a BFH and just crush the line, then with some jb weld or similar get it nice and plugged....for a good way to do it cut it up and unscrew it from the back of your heads, then get a bolt that will fit ithink it was 5/8 but not sure right now

or you can use old spark plugs for now just break off tips and screw them on
