Default electric fan fitment problem

Ok so I bought a black magic exteeme puller fan but its shroud is to big to fit in front of my crank pulley for my blower so i removed the rubber seal they had on there and still no luck so ill be sending that fan back soon. Is any one running a 5.0 with a s trim and a electric fan with a shroud? I really need to find something that will work since i have my dyno tune on tuesday.

perhaps the factory fan? are the bearings and the like the same size, maybe you could swap the coils from the larger fan on to the factory fan, but that would be a ridiculous amount of work, or you could go ahead and up the voltage to the factory fan and then cool it with oil by filling the coils with oil, I don't know maybe I'm just talking crazy here, but you can get your factory fan to push plenty more cfms by upping the voltage, unfortunately upping dc voltage is really difficult so I would go ahead and buy a dc to dc converter isntead of attempting to make one if you go down the path of upping voltage to factory fan, but just saying it is possible to push PLENTY of cfms with factory fan

for that get a cheap over flow ( junk yard 5.0) and then mount it in the fender wall on the left side there should be a hole behind where the battery sits and then run the tube to the over flow and you got a working catch can
