Default Transmission Question maybe T56

I starting to brainstorm my next build for my 88 Mustang GT. Im going to keep the 331 stroker but change the block to the new BOSS block because Im planning on a TT setup pushing 600 - 750 rwhp.

My question is what manual transmission can handle that much power? I was looking at the T56. Also will the Centerforce DF clutch handle that power too?

a normal t56 wouldnt hold up to that amount of hp consistantly. yes they are stronger than a t5 and there are some people how have a t5 on a pretty monsterous build(a.k.a MJR's 10sec car with the stock t5) so would it work? sure. would it last a long time? depending on your driving ability it could last forever or not make it two weeks.

if you are pretty content about getting a t56 get a Vspec t56. much much stronger and would hold up to that kind of abuse but also understand the gearing is different and from what i've heard if you have rear gears and the vspec you'll be shifting so much it will be like rowing a boat

also go 347

I was either thinking of talking to G-Force or DDPerformance about the tranny.

Im doing a 331 bc I already have the rotating assembly.

unless you are going to run a 4.56 or higher at highway speeds, i would not get a t56. there is no need for that .5 OD unless you have crazy gears, which you wont have with turbos.

my vote is for the tko600.
