help with firing order

Default help with firing order

ok i got the msd cap and rotor kit today put it on car turns over but puts like its going to start and then nothin. i have been looking for the firing order on (i moved each wire from term indiviualy) the car is there a differance between the lx 5.0 firing order or the gt being as its the HO cuz i keep seeing two different ones.. thanks guys

1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Counterclockwise.

Cylinder relation:

4...........8
3...........7
2...........6
1...........5
----0----

0= Distributor
#1 Passenger side front cylinder.
Number 1 on the distributor should be at approx. 11-12 o'clock when you are looking at from the front of the car.

and an answer to your question, yes the 5.0 HO and the regular 5.0 have two different firing orders.

The LX 5.0 and the GT 5.0 are the same HO engine. Even the Mark VII was an HO and again the same engine. Now a Crown Vic, Town Car, ect... 5.0 are different. You might want to be alittle more clear.
