Default Finally gettin it back on the road!

Well its been over a year since the 94 5.0 has been running. About a week ago i brought it down to DEZ racing in seekonk MA. They gave me dyno numbers before they tuned it it made 252rwhp and 280tq.. the car should be good for around 280 - 290 after the tune.. not too bad for a 306 with an e303

Those numbers do look pretty low, especially if it's a 5-speed. But maybe it was done on a Mustang Dyno. Then those numbers would make some sense. But at least you've got your car running again.

I know how you feel as I am about to get my 94 back on the road after some time collecting dust. Can't wait to hear that V8 again....

just got the final numbers after the tune made 270 rwhp and 311 tq.. it is on a mustang dyno.. i highly recomend dez racing in seekonk these guys are cool as hell and they know what their doing..

I thought the numbers were kinda low too but everyone else i talk to with similiar builds with an e303 cam get the same numbers, with even lower torque... i also have a catted x pipe so that could hold back a little power, and the tranny has 140k on it so its a little tired.. idk if that would hold back power but its possible

that's about average for the typical h/c/i, with a different cam you could gain somemore most likely.

Doesn't seem too bad, a lot of people fall short of 300whp even with the entire Trickflow top end kit...

Wow! Your numbers were identical to mine when I did the H/C/I. I made 271 and 311rwtq. But I have an auto and it was on a dynojet. Your numbers look solid.
