yea as soon as my car is back together im doing the deal. one seal on my timing cover was leaking. so maybe tuesday or wed ill have a new car in my driveway

i do have a few more. i heard the fox computers are better then those years. why? and when i tune it how do ya tune the stangs that are obd1

Actually the fox computers are not as advanced as the SN95 computers so forget that garbage. People SAY they aren't because they are more sensitive to mods, specifically cam swaps. Best way to tune it is with an SCT chip on a dyno, makes it all nice nice.

nice nice. now how much of a pain is it with these engines for cam swaps. and the cobra intakes are one of the best correct?

as far as real Cobras go, best bet is to check the VIN. 8th digit should be a 'D' which is the cobra engine code. Other things you can look for are Cobra brakes and Cobra on the steering wheel. There are a hundred things u could look for but the VIN is the best way to tell.

As for the cam swap, it's a little bit of work but nothing that's really "hard" to do; and yeah the Cobra intakes are a really good all around intake.

another question....i know im a pain in the ***...haha. the stock cobra rims of that year is 17x9 correct? whats the widest size tire i can throw on there....a 275? i was thinking 245s up front and a 275 DR in the rear. what do you guys think?
