Default Quick Nitrous Question

Im installing a ZEX dry kit right now, i need to know when you mount the nozzle for the nitrous, does it go betweent the MAF and the Throttle body, or between the MAF and the filter?

i have a wet kit and you mount those in between the maf and the throttle body, but i hope someone quickly corrects me if i am wrong, but i believe the dry kits use the maf in order to tell your cars computer to add more fuel so you would want to mount it before the maf

Nope,it mounts between the MAF and throttle body on a zex dry kit too..the kits pulls a vacuum on the fuel regulator to spike the pressure when your spraying.

before the MAF is for cheby's.

dont do it.

try to mount atleast 1-2inch's from the throttle body, so the fuel/nitrous can make it around the throttlebody plate easier.

But, I thought the fuel was injected in after all these events took place??? Like right above the heads intake ports.

He did say he was using a dry kit didn't he? Or do I have it wrong on how this EFI garbage works?

right, if it's a DRY shot, your engine will take car of it.

(please upgrade your fuel pump, ive heard upgrading the injector's help's sometimes too)

I run a wet shot, so fuel get's introduced with the nitrous from the fogger nozzle.

<~~~ hims runs a wet shot too, but mine is in the form of a plate. I did help install a wet kit on my buddies turbo LX the other day. Nitrous is alot more simple than I thought it was.
