Default Drag Radial Comparison

So for those who have experience with them lets hear it.

Nitto 555's
BFG's
MT's

Lets hear what you guys have to say about them on the track and on the street during daily driving. What kind of milage are you getting out of them.......hard to say with heating them up I know but what do you guys have????

The Domino's 555 deal is at best a weak compromise between a summer tire and a drag radial.

I used to sell the Bfgs and they were good on traction, so Iv been told (no numbers to tell of so it could be psychological I cant say) but they ran through tread like a white man through the ghetto.

The et streets are probably the best track tire but sacrafices some more street drivability than the other two

You could make a scale for Street and Strip and rank them like so

Street
Nitto 555
Bfg
Mt

Strip
Mt
Bfg
Nitto 555

I wouldn't hit a hog in the azz with the Nitto's

The BFG Drag Radial (Like the 275/60/15) is a bad azz tire for heavy cars and has the best launch. Ive pulled the hoops 3 feet on a set of these. Bad part is the coumpond is very soft and the tread curls. Needs very little burnout. Don't dry hop these tires. Dont put yourself in a position to have to back up to get staged. Handles well on the street.

M/T drag radials. Excellant street tire when dry, fair mileage, nice traction at the track but don't hook quite as well at the BFG's Needs a good burnout despite what M/T tells you. Best tire for limited street use

None of these tires should be driven in the rain. It's like driving on ice

Nitto 555 kick ***...only a summer tire in Wisconsin though...its weird cause at around 100 or so it vibrates sooo much...put the other stock rims on it and i can get up to 125 or so. I Launch and thats where i get people....rarely get loose unless i am trying too... so sticky...dont last long...maybe cause i was doing burnouts all the damn time???

I tried the Nitto 555 and I couldn't get them to hook on a VHT prep. I tried a good burnout, no burnout, John Force burnout and I may have well been on a set of M/T Sportsmans. Put the BFG's on and good to go.

I love my BFG's. When they wear out, I'll be getting another set.
