Got the car about 3 weeks ago. I have a 95' 5.0 GTS w/ automatic transmission. From what I've read, and now that I installed a new MAF(finally got the car running right), and what I feel...the transmission is extremely sluggish, can someone please help me with a list (in order) of a few things I can do to make it feel better, shift quicker, shift stronger, or maybe even a how much im looking at to get an AOD, or a T-5 or something, or whatever the manual transmission is? used, new, doesnt matter. Obviously I'd rather just do what I can to the exsisting transmission, shift-kit, torque-converter those type of things, I just dont know what I should do first, and what is best, not necesarily cheaper, but BEST.......CAN YOU PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE???? first pull the pan to check for wear...I would buy a TRANS-GO shift kit......you have an AODE
