Default Battery relocation

Just curious to how u guys routed ur starter wire cable? Did u run it through the cab, or did u go under the car and zip tie along brake lines? I'm looking for the best possible method. thx

when I asked my mechanic this question when I had it done he told me theirs a lot of juice running through the line and the best way to do it is to run it under the car. And for zip ties, thats a no go. what you do is go to a auto store, they have special claps for a 1g wire, this clap has rubber around it and holes in it so you can drill screws into the car( use claps every 2 feet) then if you like use zip ties if needed I hope this helps

I left my selonoid under the hood, so starter wire runs from there down to starter

the screws arent that long so you wouldnt have to worry about them sticking into you. I think they are self tapping screws if I remember correctly.

Yes P clamps, The hardest part is finding a path for the +cable to travel.I followed the frame to the back. Drill pin holes into the frame, use good screws. Try to keep it as tight to the car as you can. In the front of the car, keep it away from hot things like headers, as for all hot parts through out the car . In the back to get into the trunk, Don't go under, over or through any moving parts. Make it as safe as you can.

i ran a 1 O/T power wire from the battery down through the rubber grommet in the trunk (driver side) into the frame and then back up through the inside of the car and up and out the d/s firewall to a solenoid and from there a 4 o/t starter cable on stock routing which is around the front of the oil pan and to the starter... and thats it....clean and out of the way..
