Ok here it is........

i bought a 1993 LX convertible 60,000 miles garage kept. looks like it just drove off the dealer lot. I had problems with it not running right above 75% throttle.

first thing i did was a massive tune up.
1. replaced cap and rotor
2. replaced plugs and wires
3. tranny flush
4. radiator flush
5. fuel system flush or cleaning what ever you want to call it
6. replaced fuel filter
7. put on cold air intake.
8. checked timming and it was at about 11 or 12

Did all this and it still fell on its face above 75% throttle.

so i went and bought a codee reader and got codes

as far as I could find out all point to O2's and MAF
I was going to replace the O2's first just to see if they created a fack reading of a bad MAF.

thats where i am at right now.....

now in the near future i plan on putting on it is....
1. 70mm TB
2. headers
3. new exhaust

maybe cam down the road

will a stock MAF work out with that or should i look into the digital ones?

i would hate to put the stock on it and have to replace it latter down the road.

i think that the only thing i can think of doing now is to take the MAF abart and clean it real good but will that do anything?
