Default removing the ac

ok i my ac is gone all that is left is the part that is next to the the heater core what is the easiest way to remove this

Are you talking about the AC lines? When I removed my AC I used a pipe cutter to cut the lines. Also a good upgrade to the AC removal is to move your Power Streering Pump up where the AC use to be.(to do this u need to buy a part) This also requires a smaller belt. this is what I did, and Im very happy with the clean look of my engine bay.

I kept It in. =( I would imagine take the dash apart but I really don't know.

i got the dash apart and the heater core out but the plastic looks like it is has been melted together

I junked my entire HVAC system. Mines a sunny day sunday driver so thats why I removed it. I would assume if its been melted you would need to replace it or it wont work correctly??

it is 2 pieces but it looks like they were melted together at ford i will be drivin mine all year long and it gets cold dont snow

its called the evaporator guys!!, I believe you have to carefully cut the case open if there are no retaining clips
