Default Valve covers

I was looking at the Tall Ford Racing Valve Covers for my car bc i have 1.7 RR and i read that they dont fit under our intakes without a spacer is this true or not. I really like the polished aluminum and black lettering bc my block is painted black so it will match. I also wanted them bc they disperate heat and are thick so they will quiet down the RR's. So will they fit or not?

Well you might as well just put on a half in. spacer while you have your upper off to change out the valve covers, but they probably will not fit without a spacer.

I would think a half inch spacer would not have clearance issues. I had a half incher on my stock intake for a while with no issues. When I put in my trick flow intake with a 1 inch then it started hitting the hood. Since I'm getting a new hood soon anyway I just cut out the cross support on my stock hood where it was hitting the intake. If you are getting a new hood soon anyway just get a 1 incher and call it good.
