Default slipping clutch



<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=blue size=2>so clutch cable snapped on me last night..managed to get a new one in but clutch is slipping bad in 3rd and 4th gear? any suggestions</FONT></P>

<FONT color=blue>I also pulled the clutch pedal back all the way as per the instructions when i put the new cable in over the quadrent but would the cable need time to stretch out or is my quadrent screwed? It's the borg/warner trans(5 spd) with a centerforce clutch. </FONT></P>


<FONT color=#0000ff>Also when it broke the car was moved by "hop" starting it in 1st to get it to the shop. could this have caused problems or broke something on the centerforce?</FONT></P>
