Motorcraft

Sorry new to the forum have done a few searchs and still have not found what i am looking for. I have a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo coupe. Well it was a turbo coupe now its a rolling chassie. I am going to be putting a 5.0 in it. I am not going to be driving this car everyday its my toy. I removed all A/C parts and all Heater Core parts. I want to run the car with a Carb since i don't feel like wireing EFI up again. Anyway i was looking for a good combo for it performance wise. I am looking for like 250-300 HP and same if not more in tq. The engine is a Truck engine out of a 87 F250. I have a t5 tranny and a 8.8 rear already in the car. Any help with info or links would be really helpful thanks.
