i have a 89 stang lx with a 5.0. i want to get some ideas on whats a good build to accompolish my goal. it is a automatic. im going to leave the automatic. i was thinking about doing 410s, headers, offroad hpipe, 3 inch catback, air intake, bigger Mass air, new intake manifold, new struts and shocks, lowering the car with steeda springs............all ideas welcome. thanks.

12 seconds, get a bigger torque converter, 4.10 gears would be pretty good, shift kit for the trans, tire to hook up, suspension would be great thing, exhaust will really make the car sound good, but wont do as much for peformance with a pretty stock engine.

depending on the budget you have do an h/c/i
gt40 or gt40p heads, maybe even some World Products Windsor Jr Heads
cobra intake or trickflow trackheat intake.
you choice cam some go e303 some dont i would do the TSF stg 1 Cam
24lb injectors, upgrade fuel pump, some slicks, exhaust work, and maybe some nitrous and tune and you should see 12's. if you want to keep it n/a thats going to require some good driving. hope i helped

gt-40 h/c/i ,gears, 3000 stall depending on can you choose and drive it like you stole it and mid 12's a breeze

Exactley, see my sig. below, When I was EFI I had a bigger mass air, 24lb. inj., and Edelbrock intake, but everything else thats in my sig. was the same. Oh yea, had a SCT chip burned, dunno if neccessary but made my car run ALOT smoother. Its possible, dont let anyone tell you its not, my bottom end has 100k plus on it and it still runs like a champ.
