Default clutch packs install questions

howdy everyone, haven't been on here in a little bit.
well i'm installing new clutch packs in my rear end this weekend, I've got a buddy coming to help who works at a ford garage and has done them before, just got some questions.

my tlok is the 31 spline unit out of an explorer, and i'm just curious as to that these clutchs will work in it right??

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

Also. my friend bought me 2 small bottles of friction modifier, he said to poor one bottle into a containter and soak the clutches in it for about an hour, then install them. then poor the other bottle in the rear end along with the gear oil. that sound right to all of you? also what gear oil do all you recommend? i was thinking just some rp 75w140 synthetic.

if i'm leaving anything out or you have any other ideas for this let me know.

i'm just going to keep track of how i take them out, and put the new ones in the same way.
whats the break in period for these? and do i have to change fluid afterwords?

if you try and measure your worn out stock clutch pack , your readings will be skewed in comparisson with new set up.
