Default What temp do ur cars run at?

So i was just wondering, because the stock temp gauge only has two numbers, 130 and 270. Where do your cars run on that gauge or what should mine run at? On the picture i have marked where my car usually runs at around town, maybe a lil higher on the highway on a hot day. What do you think is it normal or too hot. Im running at 160 thermostat.

honestly i never trust a factory gauge, i always have put in aftermarket ones and really you should be running about a 180 t-stat

My notch usually runs about 170 and after driving for a while has never gone past 220. I have a 180 thermostat

Mine runs about a hair above the second notch in your diagram. On really hot days if I'm driving it hard it runs right in the middle of the second and third notch from the bottom. IMO yes you're running too warm...

like i said before, dont trust the stock gauge it could be running perfectly fine and the gauge could be off.

That's exactly where mine runs with a 180* T-stat. AWESOME artwork BTW.
