Default Imbalance...

Okay, heres the dealio, we apparently bought ANOTHER wrong flywheel, and apparently its a 50oz imbalance, we have a stroker kit where the imbalance is apparently 28oz, Its kind of gay that we have to send it back, and we REALLY dont want to, so im wondering if its possible to either A, get the imbalance on the Flywheel changed, or B, there is a 28oz imbalance flywheel and harm. balancer that doesnt cost a bajillion ****ing dollars...

any halp is appreciated, thanks guys

well the weight is usually welded on, the machine shop will drill into the weight to get it down to a 28oz setup

Well latemodel has a new flywheel out that is only $99. I don't know the actual quality of it but if latemodel sells it I trust them. I am in the same boat with price of one so I am buying one for my 306 so I can get my t5 up and going. I also bought my balancer from them awhile back and it didn't cost that much. Its the normal FRPP, not a fluid dampener.

I paid 265 for my fidanza and I can use it on 28 or 50 oz motors with the simple weight swap

cause we dont want to send it back if we dont have to, and we need the money elsewhere than flywheels with swappable weights, and the only 28oz ones we found were >400, we dont have that kind of money

just called james and were definately gonna grab those late model peices
