Need help with cam and heads
Im building a 347 and as is stands for heads right now the heads i got even after porting still isnt going to be enough for my application. im going to be running a turbo set-up pushing atleast 15 lbs of boost. Ive been lookin for heads but im still not sure what to run. I was thinking a set of AFR 225cc heads but i think 600 lift might be a little overkill on my motor.
Ive heard of running more lift on a turbo motor and also about 500 lift but a longer duration. So for the cam question im just wondering what is better, more lift or duration and what would be good specs for either a bought or custom ground cam?
