Default Fuel system Upgrade questions

OK guys Ive been thinking a lot about what direction to take with my stang and been kinda leaning toward spray. Now i know on the 95 GT the fuel system will not support 100 shot without some help. Now I'm a broke college student so making this happen is going to be fun.

First question: Will 24# Cobra injectors do the job?

Second: If they will i assume the MAF has to be upgraded I would use a 80mm Cobra unit.(could i use a 70mm Cobra unit?)

Third: If upgrading to the Cobra MAF will the ECU have to be tuned?

I know that a Walbro 255 will be more than enough for a pump(I will also add a fuel pressure gauge).

Forth: will i need a fuel regulator with this pump?

I know that's a lot of junk to throw out there put out there any help would be great. I can pick most of this up used for a decent price. Also thoughts on this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=350152203437 Im still shopping for kits just wanting to know what needs to get done before hand. Upgrading the fuel system is never a bad idea in the start of a project. Let me know if i missed something. Thanks for any help.

just run a wet kit then you can keep your stock injectors, the maf will be fine, an aftermarket regulator would help.

ya when i did the same thing you did, i put a fuel pressure gauge, a walbro 255, and a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. thatll do the trick and as stated get a wet kit.

make sure you adjust your timing accordingly and get a set of autolight 24's

to answer your questions. everything you stated would be fine if you plan on going bigger with your motor later on. the injectors will be fine. i run 24's in mine with a 150 shot. the pump would damn good for this set-up plus upgrades later. the regulator is a must if you change the pump because of pressure difference. besides you wont know how much pressure your running, maybe tooooo much or toooo little. anyway the mass air meter would work fine, either one of them, id go with the 80mm, but if your using a stock intake all that extra airflow is gonna be stopped by the intake lip and throttle body. so once you buy all this stuff my next upgrade would be an intake of some sort, like a cobra or a trickflow. something small for an idle to 5500 range. as for the ecu, im a fox guy, and i know the fox computers are alot different than your sn-95 computer. in all honesty i think youll need a tune for those upgrades. your ecu is a upgrade retarded. itll spit and sputter and miss and backfire without a tune. well one of my friends did anyway. so i think a tune would we sufficient. hope i answered your questions. let us know how it works out for you.

Thanks for the input guys, the car was in an accident yesterday. So at this point I'm not sure if I'm keeping it or not. Waiting on the estimate, if its totaled and not tore up that bad ill fix it, and put the nitrous on it. The cobra Intake is on the list of things to be done soon i guess ill try and find a cobra top end. Still wondering about the ecu with the MAF's tho.

if your still on here. there was a guy who had a tweecer tuner on here in the for sale items. he may still have it. if so that would fix the tune problems and you could basically do what ever the hell you wanted to it. no problems. hope it all works out. sorry to hear it wrecked now. just fix it and to hell with selling it. lol. its a mustang. its still outrun a camaro, lol.
