its deffinitely a driveline buck, thats what i've been trying to say.
it very well could be the lockup thing, sometimes when i put the car into gear it'll want to stall which i'm fairly certain is due to my converter locking up.

any idea's on how to fix it?

make sure the control arm bolts don't have a lot of wiggle play in the bushing/ spacer they go through, the cheap ones i BOUGHT FROM boi DID AND THEY GIVE THAT SORT OF BUCK BACK AND FORTH OCCASIONALLY

AODE?
Im not real sure on the specifics of the aode, but its not too different than other trans's. It could be the lock up switch solenoid. Might be toast might be gummed up. Check the voltage on it. Take a look, maybe you can just spray it clean.

mjr i'll check that too. i did replace the housing bushings on the axle with new ford bushings. but i'll be sure to check the bolts and everything real good.

Well i'm curious what you find out! My car does this as well, has a aode and the buck isn't BAD just annoying! I'm pretty sure in my case it's somewhere in the transmission cuz it's been doing it for the life of the car and recently i've changed gearing, new motor, and put a aluminum drive shaft on! so, the only other section i haven't messed with is the tranny>>>>
anyways, GOOD LUCK!

well i'll pm you if i figure it out then. i have a feeling its something in the control arms, i paid closer attention to it tonight and it feels like its the rear end jerking around. also, not sure if it matters, but when i step on the brakes it goes right away. just when my foot isn't on either peddle does it do it.

::sniff sniff:: smells like lockup still. engaging the brakes generally takes the car out of lockup.
