well i just replaced the coil with a MSD streetfire coil and it still cuts out when taking off in 1st gear. I thinking either replacing cap/rotor or spark plug wire(have cheap duralast wires). I will replace igniton module last b/c its the most expensive and i have not read ONE problem with modules that is similiar to my problem. So should i replace wires or cap and rotor?

So the motor will Rev up in neutral? Under a load is when it cuts out? Your KOE code has to do with emissions stuff you removed?

Did this just start after the emissions stuff was removed? If so, I'm thinking vacuum leak.

If not, have you verified you are getting spark when you rev up?

I am still going to put my bet on the dizzy. My car started everytime with a bad PIP. However, it's good to eliminate every possible thing. I'd replace the cap n' rotor only because they're inexpensive. Also, if there is small silver flakes in the distributor, then you for sure have a bad PIP. But you do not need to see the silver to necc have a bad PIP.

this will save you all the doubt ..if one thing is out trust me replace it..

you can have a module break up on ya and still run...and you can have a module quit on ya then 30 minutes later be fine, and yes you can have a module just say heck with it i'm done..

codes for emission stuff deleted is from a long time ago. If i rev it in neutral its fine, it doesnt cut out at all. I hear changing the PIP can be a pain and its better just to change out the whole dizzy.

okay, ok the code stuff and reving. Well then..back to ignition. Under a load the spark gets bigger. TFI module can be bad like grabbem suggested. Fords from the mid 80's to mid 90's were notorious for that going out and causing all sorts of problems.

By chance do you have a bad motor mount? Maybe if you have a bad mount when you torque the engine it is pulling a ground or other connector causing a misfire.
