Default The Teardown Started Tonight...

I have everything that I needed, So I ripped it all apart.. I started late tonight and I got it down to the bare block, and painted my valve covers. Tomorrow morning, all I have to do is throw in the cam, and adjust the roller rockers on the new AFR heads! It should be done by lunch time tomorrow...

For those of you that dont know:

I just got:
-AFR 165cc stud mount heads
-Hardened pushrods
-Crane 498/498 220/220 Roller Cam
-Scorpion 1.6 Roller Rockers
-ARP fasteners

Yep it was a two day ordeal.. It runs a lot better than it did, and sounds great, but I think the stud mount rockers aren't adjusted correctly..

I was told to: Turn the engine with a wrench, when you see the intake valve begine to open in one cylinder, adjust the exhaust valve by snugging the bolt (about 1/2 turn) and then locking the allen bolt inside. (Poly locks) Then do the same thing, just with the opposite valve. and of course repeat the process for each cylinder.

Does anyone know exactly how to do it, or a site that explaines the process? Thanks..

your rockers should have some instructions for adjusting the valves.
