Default worth changin rotors?

so im getting the braked done on my 89.
i have a set of ceramic pads but want to change the rotors.
i can either get some "premium" grade (also known as not bottom of the barrel crap) rotors from work (pep boys) at a discount
or order these from LMR:

or should i focus on the calipers first?

im looking to stay 4-lug btw

Read thru that for some helpful info.

Those are better than your pep boys thats for sure. What you should also look into are a set of steel braided hoses. If you didn't already have pads I would recommend getting maximum motorsports brake upgrade package. Hawks pads and shoes, stainless steel sliders and braided lines.

MM package

Def get these if you don't buy the MM package.

if it's just a daily driver and not used for race purposes, no reason to spend tons upgrading to cross drilled and slotted rotors IMO

add a set of EBC pads then, I did such to a car and it improved stopping capability to a degree

why not?

i slid through an intersection, cause my stock brakes were failing, and ended up locking them up,cause they got hot quick and stuck!

my kids were with me,and i told myself right there better upgraded brakes will be #1 priority!

there is not enough money out there to cut corners on brakes and safety to jeapordize my family or someone else's for that matter

look what i quoted you on then what you just said...you can't compare what you said as a reference to an example, because it's a fact that if you had stock brakes you would be butt puckering after the traps...

a 4 lug lincoln rotor would be better than the paper plates found on an old fox..

what's the price you can afford simpsonfan13? $500...would get you alot of hindsight
