looking for mid 12,s in the pic I now have gt40 aluminum heads. gt40 upper and lower intake (from explorer) 76mm maf, 70mm tb and spacer, not in pic are my 1.6rr (motorsport) waiting to get 24# injectors, e cam, 225lph fuel pump and adj pressure regulator and gauge. with my full exhaust,373,s and pullies with short belt can I get to mid 12,s ????

I have run 13.78 on stock tires with my current setup (underdrive pullies,shortbelt,fullexhaust and 373,s. With at least the heads I should run mid 13,s I also have removed front sway bar and now have skinnies up front and nitto dr,s I would like to think I haven't waisted a couple of grand in parts.

get a good launch and drive that thing 'till it screams for mercy and you'll get twelves. it should be very possible.

Depending on gears and traction, I don't see 12's out of the question. Also depends on what's been done to the heads, things like that. Auto trans, manual? Tuning? etc. etc. etc.

i think i could only get in the high 12's with my combo with 400 HP

if you need 400 hp to get 12s then something is wrong with your setup or your car





for boggers you should be able to hit 12s with a suspension. all power in the world doesnt means squat if you cant plant it. also if car i light. it takes less power to go just as fast

Id say with slicks, its possible If you hook you should run a 12.9 or so....or possible a 13.0.
