Its a great box and coil. When I go to EFI I am getting that setup. The thing I like about it most over MSD is that the rev limiter is on the box already and you don't have to buy different pills to change it.

and what kinda benefit will it give me over stock? it came off a friends xj jeep 4.0 i got for helping him with fixing stuff. i found some pdf stuff on how to wire it, it just shows it hooking up inbetween the coil wires

i installed it today with the coil as well had to get a lil creative to make it all fit nicely. the motor runs smoother but i dont notice anything really.and i hooked it up according to this pdf and no tach.and it says normally it works fine on tfi fordsbut not on this one. theres a tach signal wire which i geuss i can hook up to which ever of the 2 green and yellow wires that run to the tach off the coil plug. but with the hi-6 it piggybacks into the the coil plug so the tach doesnt work
heres the pdf link if youre interested in running it non efi

Its not going to give you much if any power (unless your current ignition is in really bad shape). What it will do is give you a stronger , more even spark, down the road if you add a power adder it will be very important. Also the way the rev limiter works is better than how the stocker works.
